Debarchan Sarkar Azure and Big Data specialist from Microsoft is Speaking at SSGAS2015

Please join me in welcoming Debarchan Sarkar. He is an Azure and Big Data specialist and does not need an introduction to the SQL World, but I take the privilege of introducing him to the SQL community in Asia.

Debarchan Sarkar (@debarchans) is a Microsoft Data Platform engineer specializing on Microsoft Azure and Big Data. Debarchan is a subject matter expert in SQL Server Integration Services and is currently delving deep into open source world, specifically the Apache Hadoop framework. He is currently working in a technology called HDInsight which is Microsoft’s distribution of Hadoop on Microsoft Azure.

Debarchan is the author of various books on SQL Server and Big Data including Pro Microsoft HDInsight with Apress SQL Server 2012 with Hadoop with Packt Publishing and Mastering SQL Server 2014 Data Mining with Packt Publishing. Debarchan is a social media enthusiast, he owns and maintains several technical groups and communities on Azure and Big Data. During his free time, Debarchan likes to watch cricket, listens to music and loves to explore new places as he firmly believes that “known is a drop, the unknown is an ocean”.

Debarchan will be delivering a couple of breakout sessions at SQLServerGeeks Annual Summit 2015 in Cloud and Big Data tracks. Expect some amazing sessions from him!
